Friday, April 29th- The Variety Show!

Heavy Metal Juggling! Synchronized Dance Moves! Performances of All Kind!

The Annual Variety Show is starting off May Day weekend with an opportunity to perform, volunteer to help make it happen, or just come by and enjoy the show! Performances are 5 minutes or less! If you’d like to strut your stuff on stage or volunteer to help decorate, coordinate acts, etc., please email: maydayvarietyshow1@gmail.com or text 828-333-1400. There’s still plenty of time to get involved and have fun!

Doors open at 7pm, at 3577 Bigelow (please enter on Bethoven St) and the show begins at 8. Bring your beautiful self and your loved ones, including children!

Saturday, April 30th The 7th Annual Polish Hill May Day Parade!

All are welcome to join in for Polish Hill’s 7th Annual May Day Parade! The theme this year is “Many Heads, Many Hands,” celebrating the spirit of collaboration!

To join in the parade meet up at the end of lower Melwood St. at noon, just down from Pittsburgh Filmmakers. Feel free to dress up, bring floats, banners, flowers, umbrellas..anything that feels celebratory and in the spirit of workers rights and the rites of spring! And most importantly bring yourself and your loved ones! At 1 0’clock the Parade will move from lower Melwood and up through Polish Hill, ending at West Penn Park for a community bbq and a pick up baseball game!

Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to join in the planning of the parade and float building or any other contributions they’d like to make. For more info please email: maydaypolishhill@gmail.com
